General Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for administration and coordination of all operational departments. The Operations Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities in areas of operations to include casino operations, internal control and records management.
Work Schedule
- Requires morning, afternoon, evenings and nights. Monday through Sunday
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors gaming machine operations to ensure compliance within casino.
- Prepares, recommends, and maintains records and procedures for operational data.
- Work closely with Compliance Officer to ensure TIC and NIGC minimum internal control standards are adhered to.
- Ensures support for all casinos staff.
- Ensure Bank Secrecy Act Anti-Money Laundry Title 31 Program is followed by employees.
- Administer corrective action as necessary with employees.
- Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers while ensuring maximum level of customer service by all casino employees.
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager.
Physical Job Requirements
- Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
- Gaming floor environment with some office environment.
Qualification Standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of gaming, including but not limited to slot machines and hospitality.
- MS Office Tools experience; knowledge of computer systems and/or communications systems
- Knowledge of gaming software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must maintain valid Cheyenne-Arapaho Gaming License.
