IT Technician Overnight Shift
Full Time | Concho
OVERVIEW:
The IT Technician maintains all computer systems (servers, desktop, switches, etc.) ensuring smooth operation and providing technical support and advise to computer users and IT Tech Support. The IT Technician ensures Lucky Star Casino’s computer systems are kept as reliable and efficient as possible.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Requires morning, afternoon and evenings. Monday through Sunday.
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval.
- On Call at all times (required)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities noted below:
- Maintain all computer systems not related to slot machine and table games.
- Installation of new software and hardware.
- Building of databases as required and needed.
- Interpreting vendor quotes in relation to new computer hardware and software.
- Making recommendations for new software and hardware as needed.
- Troubleshoot computer server problems and recommended course of action.
- Must exhibit high level of customer service to all customers and co-workers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 40lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
- Casino environment (exposure to cigarette, cigar and pipe smoke, flashing lights and noise), some office environment
QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years progressive work experience working with both computer software and hardware.
- Experiences working with databases, spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Previous work experience with Novell Server.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent IT experience
- Must possess a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
