OVERVIEW:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is under the direct supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager. The Food and Beverage Supervisor is to ensure the quality and professionalism of our food and beverage service in the restaurant, kitchen and deli by supervising our staff thereby providing an atmosphere that exceeds our guest’s expectation.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Requires mornings, afternoons, and some evenings. Monday through Sunday.
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by manager.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities noted below:
- Train, supervise, and set an example for all staff to follow.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work space.
- Communicate all issues or needs to F&B Manager in a timely manner.
- Maintain the highest level of integrity with the company, customers and fellow employees; holding yourself, and your co-workers to the highest standards.
- Understand and know products carried and price, as well as all applicable discount rates.
- Understand and comply with, at all times, all applicable health regulations, liquor laws and safety standards.
- Responsible for call in and substitution needs.
- Hold staff accountable for standards of service and uniform.
- Complete end of shift procedures and paperwork accurately for oneself and servers.
- Responsible for stocking all necessary supplies, pulling all necessary stock; as well supervising the stocking of all beverage carts.
- Represent the Casino in a professional and exemplary manner and promote the success of the casino to guests and staff alike.
- Any other duties deemed reasonable and necessary
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs.
- Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures and fumes.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS:
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must possess and maintain a Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License
- Above average computer and math skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Able to obtain ACE certification/ABLE license once employed.
