General Description
The Outside Maintenance Manager is under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Director. The Maintenance Manager position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of all exterior areas of casino to include lawn maintenance care.
Work Schedule
- Requires morning, afternoon and evenings. Monday through Sunday.
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure overall cleanliness and maintenance of exterior in accordance to Lucky Star standards.
- Maintain inventory control of maintenance supplies, tools and electrical/mechanical equipment as needed. Order supplies, tools and equipment as needed with proper approval.
- Ensure maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment is maintained.
- Ensure staff operates tools/equipment and use of chemicals in a safe manner.
- Schedule outside maintenance staff according to business needs to include special events.
- Ensure staff receives training & operates in accordance to Lucky Star Standards.
- Ensure staff receives training & operates in accordance to Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures.
- Administer terminations, disciplinary action, evaluations and coaching as necessary to staff.
- Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Job Requirements
- Stand continuously with some sitting and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
- Work in extreme hot/cold elements.
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
- Required to wear fluorescent vest or jacket.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 80lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
Qualification Standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
- Must possess a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
