General Description
The Transportation Manager is under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager. The Transportation Manager position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position. The Transportation Manager will be responsible for the overall transportation department to ensure safe transportation for Lucky Star Guest while ensuring STAR treatment to all guests.
Work Schedule
- Requires morning, afternoon and evenings. Monday through Sunday
- Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval by supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Transportation staff to train, supervise, hire, terminate, and set an example for all to follow.
- Schedule drivers according to business volume
- Ensure staff operates in accordance to Lucky Star Standards
- Administer disciplinary action, evaluations and coaching as necessary to staff
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance schedule
- Report/record all accidents and/or damage to vehicles
- Must exhibit STAR treatment to all customers and co-workers.
- Maintains a proficient knowledge of all policies and procedures
- Must project professionalism and a consistently friendly demeanor
- Promotes positive guest relations at all times, greets guests arriving and departing in a friendly, courteous, and positive manner, and also uses prompt personalized service, ensuring guest satisfactions.
- Promotes safety above all other tasks, including maintain vehicles so that they are clean and free of slip and fall hazards and ensuring that customers entering and exiting the vehicle are able to do so safely.
- Will conduct a routine inspection of your vehicle before and after assigned shift, reporting any damage, defects, or operational concerns. If any concerns may impact the operational safety of the vehicle, report immediately to the shift manager.
- Obey all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest operation of vehicles and the safety of our guests.

- Responsible for fueling vehicles appropriately, following established procedures.
- Will lead departmental staff meetings and training as required.
- Maintains a working knowledge of company facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to provide guests with accurate, up to date information.
- Comply with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Maintain professional communication with supervisor and coworkers, including radio contact with management, other shuttle drivers, etc.
- Report any suspicious or negligent activity conducted in or around parking area.
- In the event of an accident, follow the accident procedure guideline.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Job Requirements
Sit continuously with some standing and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break
- Work in extreme hot/cold elements
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
- Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations.

Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 years of age and be able to meet insurance requirements.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
- Must maintain valid Cheyenne-Arapaho Gaming License.
- DMV/Driving record in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent
