Maintenance staff is responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and neatness with achieving and maintaining all exterior and interior areas of casino facilities and casino properties. The Maintenance staff is under the direct supervision of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager followed by Chain of Command when/if necessary.
Required to work varies shifts (Day shift, Evening shift, Overnight.)
Request to be scheduled off for a specific reason requires advance notification and approval
May occasionally work overtime when needed and when approved
Required to work at other facilities at short notice.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position includes, but is not limited to, the duties and responsibilities noted below:
Ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of all exterior and interior (casino’s, administration buildings, and property grounds.)
Ensure Collection and removing litter and other debris from property grounds, buildings, and parking lots, RV
Grounds keeping/Landscaping ensuring the daily duties of all landscaping duties
Maintain up-keep and installs of any and all building(s), offices, parking lot, etc.
General maintenance duties of interior and exterior projects, carpentry work, and basic preventative maintenance of facilities and property of Lucky Star Casino
Mechanic work on company vehicles, machinery, powered equipment/tools.
Ensure the Completion of daily, weekly and monthly department checklist.
Ensure and maintain inventory control of all maintenance supplies, tools
Oversee Operation of all power tools, heavy equipment, yard equipment and vehicles responsibility.
Participate in training and certifications needed for the department provided by Lucky Star Casino
Must exhibit STAR treatment at all times to Customers and Employees
Able to use all and any equipment, machinery, and tools.
Required to follow all safety guidelines in accordance Lucky star standards

Physical Job Requirements
Must be able to move objects up to and exceeding 40lbs.
Frequent bending, turning, stooping, reaching, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
Able to work Casino environment interior (exposure to cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke; bright flashing lights; loud mechanical noises and crowds.)
Able to work Casino environment exterior (exposure to rain, wind, extreme hot, and extreme cold weather.)
Required to wear all safety glasses, gloves, helmets, and/or equipment pertaining to job. Fluorescent vest/shirts are required when working on any lucky star property.
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Basic verbal and communication skills
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have valid Driver’s License
Must possess and maintain a valid Cheyenne and Arapaho Gaming License/permit.
